A dynamic healthcare facility for Colorado's active mountain lifestyle.
St. Anthony Summit Medical Center has been Summit County's primary healthcare resource since 1978. Today, we offer the region's highest level of emergency care. And, because you never know when you'll need us, we're always ready 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Summit Medical Center is the mountain base for Flight For Life, Colorado, the nation's first civilian medical helicopter founded by St. Anthony Hospitals in 1972. Our comprehensive care also includes services to meet a large range of general health care needs.
Centura Health is Colorado’s largest health care system and one of the state’s largest private employers, operating 12 hospitals, seven senior residences and home care and hospice services. As a faith-based organization, what distinguishes us more than size is our daily dedication to sensitively serving the sick, injured and elderly. We seek to create a covenant of caring that improves the health of the people in our communities. As a not-for-profit organization, Centura has no shareholders to whom returns are distributed; all profits are reinvested in our mission and communities. By treating and touching the whole person—body, mind and spirit—our 12,000 associates transform each Centura facility into a healing sanctuary. We offer our patients a place of safety and skill that recognizes unique needs and nurtures each individual with excellence, integrity and compassion.
