Penrose Hospital
Penrose Hospital, located at 2222 N. Nevada Avenue, is the anchor hospital of Penrose-St. Francis Health Services. With 300 beds, Penrose Hospital provides secondary and tertiary (high tech) medical-surgical services with emphasis on elective and outpatient care. Established in 1890 as a tuberculosis sanatorium, Penrose Hospital has grown to become a major health treatment and referral center, specializing in such areas as: cancer care, cardiac care, emergency trauma care and rehabilitation.
St. Francis Medical Center
The St. Francis Medical Center campus opened in August 2008 as a state-of-the-art, 156-bed tertiary medical center offering facilities and services to meet all medical needs of the Colorado Springs Community far into the future. It is the only full-service hospital in northern Colorado Springs.
