(LOUISVILLE)—Avista Adventist Hospital is hosting a free seminar on hip pain Tuesday, September 20, from 11 am to 12 noon. Michael Wertz, MD, orthopedic surgeon, will be the featured speaker and will discuss the new alternatives for treating for hip pain.
Dr. Wertz holds a medical degree from the Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland, Ohio. He completed a residency in orthopedic surgery at University of Vermont College of Medicine, Burlington, Vt. He is board certified in orthopedic surgery, and has special interest in total joint replacements, sports medicine and hand surgery.
Avista Adventist Hospital’s joint program offers on-going education and joint care by eight physicians: Dr. Thomas Eickmann, Dr. David Grauer, Dr. Joseph Hsin, Dr. Thomas Mann, Dr. James Reid, Dr. David Schneider, Dr. Jordan Stoll and Dr. Michael Wertz.
