Andrew Gaasch Named CFO of Porter Adventist Hospital and Centura’s South Denver Group

DENVER (Sept. 22, 2011) –  The appointment of Andrew Gaasch as chief financial officer for Porter Adventist Hospital and Centura Health’s South Denver Group was announced today by Randy Haffner, Ph.D., president, South Denver Hospital Group, and chief executive officer, Porter Adventist Hospital.

Gaasch has been with Centura Health since 2002. His most recent position was chief financial officer at Parker Adventist Hospital, which he has held since 2007. Gaasch also served recently as the interim chief executive officer for Parker.

As chief financial officer for the South Denver Group, Gaasch will provide leadership for the financial performance and stewardship of the South Denver Group, which includes Littleton, Parker and Porter Adventist Hospitals, along with the newly commissioned Castle Rock Adventist Health Campus. Given recent administrative changes at Parker Adventist Hospital, Gaasch will maintain his office in Parker temporarily. A formal search for a CFO at Parker Adventist Hospital has already commenced. Until that replacement is found, Gaasch will provide financial leadership at both Parker and Porter Adventist Hospitals.

“This is a tremendous opportunity, not only for me professionally, but also for the South Denver Group, to pursue synergies to better provide our services in a fiscally responsible manner,” Gaasch said. “I am passionate about the mission of Centura Health and am grateful to have the opportunity to serve in this new capacity.”
