(Oct. 22, 2009) – Centura Health, the largest hospital and health care provider in Colorado, today announced its online bill pay service - phase one of the new Centura Health Patient Portal Web site.
Core Facts:
- Patients at any of the 12 Centura Health hospitals, and select medical clinics, are provided with the flexibility to pay bills online - a convenient and secure method for bill payment from any computer, 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
- Online bill payments through the www.centura.org Website are safe and easy with US Bank’s software, which is rated at Level One in the payment card industry, and is HIPPAA-compliant.
- Currently underway, phase two of the Centura Health Patient Portal site will expand capabilities to include hospital pre-registration and allow patients to access their own health records with the option to export those records to Microsoft HealthVault.
- Online pre-registration will allow users the convenience to prepare for procedures quickly and securely from the comfort of their own home, or the convenience of any computer. In addition, the quick and easy process will significantly reduce patient wait time in hospital waiting rooms.
- As part of the recently announced Centura Health 2020 strategic plan, the creation of the Patient Portal site will create greater efficiencies for Centura Health and a more patient-centric model of health care for the communities it serves.
