(Westminster)—The public is invited to attend a groundbreaking ceremony and reception for the new St. Anthony North Medical Pavilion on Thursday, May 5, at 10 am. The event will take place at the building site at the southwest corner of I-25 and 144th Avenue, across from The Orchard Town Center in Westminster. Immediately following the ceremony, a reception will be held at the Metro North Chamber of Commerce, 14583 Orchard Parkway.
The 48,000-square-foot new facility will house physician offices, a 24-hour Emergency Department, an imaging center, a women’s imaging center, laboratory services and a heliport for the Flight For Life® Emergency Air Transport.
The $26 million outpatient project is slated to open in the spring of 2012. Hospital officials say that the medical pavilion, designed to serve up to 25,000 patients per year, is being built in response to the growing need for medical facilities in the north metro area.
Guests can park in specially reserved areas in the Macy’s parking lot at The Orchard Town Center and take a free shuttle to and from the ceremony.
